Under the supervision of Alain Saad, MD, ophthalmologist and senior surgeon, with the participation of C. Panthier et R. Courtin, MD, ophthalmologists at the Rothschild Foundation
9.00 – 12.00 am: Symposium:
1) Introduction: why DMEK ?
2) Graft preparation techniques
3) How to manage tear during preparation?
4) Insertion and unfolding of the graft
5) Refractive results post DMEK – what to expect?
6) Managing complications
7) Post-operative course
1.00 – 5.00 pm : Wet Lab training with individual microscopes
1/ Individual graft preparation on human cornea
2/ Insertion and unfolding of the graft
A certificate will be awarded to all participants and
we will have the pleasure to exchange over a diner after the training.
